Health, Safety and Environment Mission Statement

American Agip Co. Inc. is commited to managing health, safety and environmental (HSE) matters as an integral part of our business. It is our policy to assure the HSE integrity of our processes and facilities at all times and in all places. We will do so by implementing the HSE Integrated Managment System and futher, by adhering to the following principles:

Complinace

We will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standarts and will implement programs and procedures to insure compliance. Compliance with HSE standarts will be a key ingedient in training, performance reviews and incentives to emplyees.

Prevention

We will employ managment systems and procedures designed to prevent activities and/or conditions that pose a threat to human health, safety or the environment. We will strive to minimise risk and protect our employees by employing appropriate technologies and operating procedures, as well as striving to be prepared for emergencies.

We will strive to prevent pollution of the atmosphere, land and water. We will make efforts to minimize the amount and toxicity of waste generated.

Communication

We will communicate our commitment to HSE to our employees, vendors and customers. We will solicit their participation in meeting our HSE goal, and we will insure that a verifiable commitment to HSE standarts plays a major role in our contractor selection process.

Continuous Improvement

We will seek opportunities to continuously improve the effectiveness of the Integrated Managment System, conserve natural resources, and improve our adherence to these principles.
